Lorraine Gelech
Lorraine has been part of the PHM community for over 38 years and recently celebrated her 90th birthday. She is cherished for her independence, warm personality, and sense of humour. Whether attending church nearly every Sunday, listening to her favourite country music, or enjoying long walks outdoors, Lorraine continues to inspire those around her with her zest for life. “She has the nickname of Genius Lorraine, and we all certainly believe that she is indeed that!” staff shared with admiration.
PHM is proud to be working with the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy to seek recognition for Lorraine as the oldest living person with CP - a milestone that reflects both her extraordinary life and her enduring spirit. Her resilience and joy make her a true role model in our community, and we are honoured to celebrate her as part of the PHM family.
